Today my this Altera share with me what he read from his friend blog, after reading this, I feel god damn truth, hence I share it over here with you guys/gals.
大学念了几年发现所念非己所好，认识自己搞清理想固然值得杀鸡还神，但国家未来栋梁说没办法啦，都念好几年了，先完成学位再说吧。殊不知岁月不饶人，垂垂老矣不敢再呆个两三年，令尊令堂养育之恩等你报答，唯有转修社会大学，为五斗米折腰。
工作了一段时日，对工作又失去热诚了，还是那句没办法啦，家中有老有嫩，哪敢转工面对未知，自己做生意思前想后风险太大又欲行又止。如斯态度在职场上加以延续，所以许许多多的打工一族浑浑噩噩地做个三等员工，等放工，等发薪，等退休。退休后公积金局的投资失误又让养老金流入大海，他妈的又叹“早知当年和朋友合伙搞生意了”
The first paragraph is so truth that a lots of my MMU friends told me, "I don't like engineering, I love management, but my mother force me to study FOE as she said 7A/10A/11As why go study management? Should study engineering, bright future, better future prospect." I was stunned and feel pityful for them as they don't have freedom to choose what they really interested. Something went terrible wrong in the society and the education system itself. With the narrow mind of most teachers and parents, the students nowadays are force to study what they really don't interested on. I take one example, the secondary school teachers force my coursin to study in "science" after he score 7As in the PMR. He requested numerous of time that he want to study "accounting" or "art" in Form4, he even go all the way make request with the headmaster of the school but the headmaster rejected his request as they feel he should study "science" rather then "accounting" or "art". Without choices and backup from family members, he continue his study and only did poorly in the SPM.
Student itslf always are to be blamed in this case in Malaysia, parents or teachers will ask why you do it so poorly? Last time you can score 7As in PMR, why now did it so poorly ?
Who say 7As in PMR must study science ? "Teachers say, headmaster say"
Who say 7As in SPM must take Engineering ? "Mother says, aunties say, uncles say"
Teachers and parents, I want to tell you, you just rulling your students or childrens whole life!
This is what happening in Malaysia, the parents without much knowledge and open mind force their children to be professional (Engineers, Doctors, Lawyer). The school teachers with narrow minds set rules that with good result in PMR must take "sciene" course in Form4. These un-quality and narrow minded teachers will going to grow our Malaysia NEXT GENERATION of leader? Gosh.... It is just like you ask a "un-quality" leader to lead a project, then screw up the whole project.

Every parent want nothing but the best in every aspect of life for their beloved children. So, they always say, "This is for your own good!". We don't blame them for forcing their child to go into professionals when they grow up but hope they can actually listen to what their children want. That's more important..
Ps: In future, i won't force my children to study engineering!!
Make sure you didn't :P & Make sure your husband or your in-law or even your parents itself didn't force your children.
