A friend of mine got snatched the handbag at the Mobile Petrol station at USJ recently. I was stunned and worried about her condition in the first place, but after knowing she is physically alright, I felt relief.
Yesterday was the first day I met her after the incident, she look OK :) According to her, she lost rm150 Parkson voucher, new RM50 notes, 2 ATM cards, some personal pictures, IC and driving license. What I concern her the most, is she still OK, then everything is ok, as money can be bought back, pictures and keychain can be reprint or replaced by new one. But not the life or any serious wound that hardly be replaced.
To my friends, petrol station is HOT SPOT for all this snatch theft, please do not go to the petrol station at night if really needed, don't think you got someone accompany you, don't think you are tough, don't think you are guy or GAy, once you are spotted on by these snatch theft, you are in danger.
Some general tips so that you are not spotted on by snatch theft, keep alert and awareness higher by looking around like you are observing around. Please do not pay attention on handphone of gaming while you are pumping the petrol and so on. Your awareness or alert are low are the main reason why you are spotted on by the snatch theft.
